Nature Creatrix, Lover of Dirt and Sky

I am an artist, avid birder, forager, gardener, photographer, herbalist, and insect enthusiast. I have embraced the natural world around me with gusto since I was a child.
Forever fascinated with insects in particular, once a camera was placed in my hands, I naturally gravitated towards the world of insect photography. The world of macro is often overlooked and underappreciated, but taking the time to peer into the tiny expanded my mind and creative capacity in so many ways. As I grew as a photographer, I branched out into the world of birds and my passion for birding soared. I have found there are endless worlds to explore through presence and intention.
I have been a student of Wild Essence School for over ten years under the leadership of Jessi Marino, receiving my RYT 200 in 2017.
Through the years of learning and facilitating within the school, I have grown so much as a human and have found the capacity and confidence to branch out into photographing people. As I cultivate my creativity and expansiveness within myself, my skills have grown in a unique way. I have found such a well of gratitude in supporting others to feel their best, and to see their natural, raw beauty that emerges from within.
Graduating with a BS in psychology, I have supported individuals with mental illness, physical and developmental disabilities for over 20 years. This work has allowed me to bring a trauma informed, compassionate approach to my person- based offerings.
Continuing to learn and grow is an eternal focus, as there is a never ending amount of curiosity that lies within. I hope to someday make photography a full time career, giving me more time to pursue all that life has to offer.
